I work with this pretty face, Karen, over at my day job which is way more boring than photographing all my clients. It was a perfect day for photos, just enough light. And little miss M is such a ham! She has a great personality and lots of silly faces. And watch out Dad-- soon the boys will flock! Happy holidays to the Blood family!

I first started photographing this family last holiday season. And this season I got to do it again! These three girls are too cute and are always ready for any shot. Happy holidays to the Fergusons!

Scrap Happy

Madeline {1 Year}

This is my 4th session with Madeline. I've been photographing her since she was a little baby. I absolutely love watching her grow. She has the cutest expressions and she's always so easy going and happy. Madeline's mommy is also pregnant with another baby so I get to spend even more time with this family.. YAY!! And thanks for being such loyal clients and friends!

Scarlet {3 year session}

This little girl is the most well behaved almost 3 year old I think I've ever met. She is so sweet and so mature for her age. Maybe it's because I'm at home with a thriving 2 year old that it makes the age of 3 seem so angelic. Either way, Scarlet was great to work with and we got some amazing sun in the photos!

The Derks {Maternity}

What a beautiful family! We got this maternity session done just in time because Momma had her little baby girl 2 days later! We had a lot of fun and managed to not get rained on. I cannot wait to photograph this family again!

Archie {1 year}

This little slugger was on the move the whole evening and was just a really happy 1 year old. Of course, he had many things to explore. It was great to work with this adorable family! What a lucky little boy to have such a great mom and dad!

I've been on a baking spree! Here are some more dishes I created recently.

Homemade pizza, delish.

And pasta with alfredo sauce and these yummy yummy cheesy biscuits. Yeah, just like from Red Lobster.

My maternal instincts have kicked up a notch since I've been home on maternity leave. I've been looking at tons of recipes and all sorts of DIY goodness online. I decided to capture something I baked today. And boy, do I love photographing food.. especially since you get to EAT it!


I quickly whipped up some chocolate chip cookie dough

Poured it into a 9x13 pan and added oreos

Then I whipped up a box of brownie mix.. easy peasy..

..then I poured the brownie batter on top of the oreos and cookie dough

Hungry yet?

A little extra chocolate never hurt anyone

..but now we must wait. Forty-five minutes of wait (at 350°).

Voila!

Ok, now where's the milk?
